Inspiration strikes!

Conceived in a hammock in 2018, Beatnik & Rustik is the modest empire of Michael Sloan, a Toronto maker and purveyor of travel and wellness products that spark conversation. Having since cornered the market on scratch maps, the shop's scope will soon expand to include luggage tags, zines and graphic novels. Dreamed, designed, manufactured in Little Portugal, with ease of purchase throughout the country and worldwide via Amazon & Etsy. There are so many cool things to make and we're just getting started!

Alongside the posters, we file found objects: brass keys from demolished annexes, coins pulled from the Don, ceramic scraps from old brickworks. Nothing is mass-produced. Everything is a little faded, a little grubby, and entirely ours.
